Jennifer Bijoux - Teaching Yoga with an Artistic Foundation
A resident of New York City, New York, Jennifer Bijoux is a dedicated yoga instructor and performing artist whose work is rooted in physical discipline and creative exploration. She earned a 500 Hour Yoga Instructor Certification from Sukha Yoga School in Manhattan, building a strong foundation in Vinyasa, Power, Yin, and Hatha yoga. From 2001 to 2014, Jennifer Bijoux taught at various studios across Manhattan while also developing a private client base to whom she offered personalized home sessions. She is Yoga Alliance Certified.
Alongside her yoga career, Jennifer Bijoux trained in theatre, dancing, and singing at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She expanded her movement practice through aerial arts, specifically aerial silk and aerial hoop.
Outside of teaching, Jennifer Bijoux spends her free time deeply engaged in the arts. She has a strong interest in classic literature, artist biographies, and theatre. She further enjoys paintings by Caravaggio and many others, as well as sculptures by Brancusi, Giacometti, and Calder.
